The colorful textures of the stories we create comprise the brilliant tapestry of our lives.” Inspiring others to capture, share and co-create them has become the story-filled journey of international speaker, author and poet, Mozella Perry Ademiluyi.
Mozella’s rich background is influenced by her life experiences growing up and living in East and West Africa for more than 25 years as well as her extensive world travels. Originally from Miami, Florida, she brings a ‘global point of view’ to retreat and workshop audiences around the world.
Mozella encourages us to consciously explore new possibilities and design the change we seek in our personal and professional lives. She also teaches us how to ‘discover’ the real power in the underlying lessons of our existing stories and how to create new ones.
After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and reaching 15,000 feet in celebration of her 50th birthday, Mozella established her company Love Is A Mountain. Ten years later, Mozella successfully reached Mt. Kilimanjaro’s highest point, Uhuru Peak – 19,340 feet, on January 10, 2014, marking 50 years since she first witnessed Mt. Kilimanjaro with her parents and siblings. The metaphorical significance of mountains and the natural world, as “master teachers” of critical life lessons, is a central theme in Mozella’s work.
Mozella is an engaging facilitator and imaginative speaker who inspires her participants and audiences to reach their own transformations.
Having obtained her undergraduate and law degrees at Howard University in Washington, DC, Mozella is a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of International Trade. She volunteers her time teaching youth ‘wealth literacy’ and serves on several boards in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She is also a graduate of Leadership Greater Washington Class of 2014. Mozella is married with three grown sons and several other adult children around the world to whom she is Mom!
